A look at Wildlife Conservation in Britain and Abroad

Wildlife Conservation isn't just for those lucky enought to trek off into the Borneo jungle in search of endandered Orangutans.  It can also be about looking after things closer to home, whether that's getting involved in local projects restoring ecosystems for native animals, or simply taking care to provide natural habitats for creatures living in your own back garden.

Small things such as leaving rotting branches on the floor for the insects, which in turn feeds the birds,  leaving grassy areas open, and not cutting down trees, all help to conserve wildlife within your own personal space.  Concrete and decking are for wimps!

Aside from this there are many many other kinds of projects you can get involved with around the nation and abroad.  Over the next few weeks we will gather information about different projects you can get involved in.
